1. Services Provided

We offer professional smoke alarm installation and maintenance services for residential properties. All services are subject to availability and may vary based on location and specific customer requirements.

2. Appointments and Scheduling

Appointments for service must be scheduled in advance.
We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel appointments due to unforeseen circumstances.
Customers will be notified promptly of any changes to scheduled services.

3. Estimates

By accepting and signing an estimate, you are agreeing to a contract for work to be performed by Smoke Alarm Experts LLC.
Estimates are an approximation and are not guaranteed. Actual costs may change once all project elements are finalized.
Prior to any deviations from the estimate, you will be given an updated estimate to approve.

4. Customer Responsibilities

Provide accurate information about your property and existing smoke alarm systems.
Ensure safe and reasonable access to the property for our technicians.
Notify us promptly of any changes to scheduled appointments.
Clear service areas of obstructions to ensure safe access for technicians.
Secure animals and inform technicians of their presence.
Assist with locating electrical circuit breakers if required.

5. Changes to Services

Changes in specifications, quantities, schedule, or other aspects of the services that are requested or approved by you do not become binding unless accepted in writing. Any such changes may result in additional charges, which you agree to pay after approving them in writing.

6. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing.
We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and other payment methods as specified on our website.
Late payments may incur additional fees.

7. Cancellation, Rescheduling, and Refund Policy

Customers may cancel or reschedule appointments with at least 24 hours' notice.
Refunds for canceled services will be processed at our discretion.
Rescheduling within one calendar month of a canceled appointment incurs no additional fees. Beyond that timeframe, a new appointment must be scheduled.
Cancellations without a minimum of 24 hours' notice will forfeit the service deposit.

8. Service Fees and Special Circumstances

A service trip fee is applied to all service appointments.
Additional charges may apply for service locations over 45 minutes from our standard areas or for high ceiling installations over 15 feet.
Special order equipment may require a non-refundable deposit.

9. Liability Disclaimer

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.
Our maximum liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount paid by the customer for the specific service.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, and logos, is the property of Smoke Alarm Experts LLC and is protected by intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without prior written permission.

11. Text Messaging and Email Communications

By using our services, you agree that we may contact you infrequently via text messages for service-related purposes, including but not limited to appointment confirmations, technician arrival notifications, and service reminders. We will not use text messages for marketing purposes. Customers should expect to receive several text messages a week when inquiring about service or when service is scheduled.

We may also send infrequent emails related to service updates and occasional marketing communications. These emails will never exceed one per month and will only contain relevant updates, special offers, or useful information about our services.
You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by clicking the "unsubscribe" link included in the message.
