Our Story...

Our founder became interested in fire safety after witnessing a fire at a nearby neighbor's home. Their smoke alarms did not sound until after they had escaped from their smoke-filled home.  Why weren't they warned? After much research he concluded that the smoke alarms installed in most homes are inadequate and are not the types recommended by all fire safety experts. 

While there are many companies that can install smoke alarms, he found that most of them are not installing the types of alarms recommended by every expert and every manufacturer. There is a real need for better fire safety education and services.

The goal of Smoke Alarm Experts is to focus on residential fire safety, a market that is primarily serviced by electricians that are not experts in fire safety and for this reason they continue to install inferior alarms.

Smoke Alarm Experts partners with local organizations in the markets we serve to bring public awareness to important fire safety issues. We work with fire departments and community organizations to teach classes and offer free and discounted services.

Smoke Alarm Experts is founded on three core tenants, of which all strategies are based, and decisions are made. These three core tenants are:

• Be Accountable. 

• Be Better. 

Because of these tenants, we believe that our customer’s safety is more important than profits, that customer satisfaction has to be guaranteed, and that constant improvement is required.

We are proud of the work we do because we know that it improves people’s safety and helps them feel safe in their homes.
